01. The Vision

I collaborated with abstract intuitive artist Pierrette Vézina to build a minimalist digital home for her practice, Happy in My Heart Studio. The primary objective was to step back and let the artwork take center stage—creating a crisp, high-impact framework that showcases her creative portfolio without visual distraction.

02. Curation & Architecture

To keep the visitor's focus purely on the artwork, I designed a streamlined, three-page website. The integrated Home and About page combines her personal story with her artist statement, which then leads into a curated portfolio gallery page. Finally, a dedicated Contact page features direct email and social media pathways to seamlessly connect collectors and the community to Pierrette.

03. Brand & Content Strategy

The design process began with creating a custom typographic logo, utilizing a carefully selected font that matches Pierrette's personality and artistic style. Because high-quality photography was crucial, I delivered a strategic pre-production mood board and shot list for her session with a professional photographer.

04. Future-Proof Design

An artist's practice is constantly evolving. I built the site on Squarespace with an integrated live Instagram journey feed to keep the platform fresh and connected. The architecture is intentionally designed to be easily scalable, giving Pierrette a powerful digital presence that she can effortlessly expand as her practice grows.
